Terms of use

These govern this website. They are not the agreement that governs an engagement — that is a separate document, shown to you in full and signed before any document is sent.

What this site is

An description of a recovery audit practice and a way to start one. Nothing on it is an offer capable of acceptance, a quotation, or a promise that any particular amount is recoverable in any particular case.

Nothing on this site is legal, tax, accounting, or insurance advice, and none of it creates a professional relationship of any of those kinds. We are not a law firm, an accounting firm, an insurance broker, or an insurance carrier. Where a question is legal or tax in nature, it belongs with your own adviser.

Some states license or otherwise regulate who may be paid to review insurance premiums, and the rules differ by state and by the type of audit. We confirm in writing whether we can act for you in your state before anything is signed — and if we cannot, we say so instead of working around it.

The written assistant

The assistant on this site is software. It explains how the work is done; it does not decide anything, it cannot commit us to anything, and nothing it says forms part of an agreement.

It is instructed never to estimate what you might recover and never to ask for personal data, and we test that. It can still be wrong. Where it conflicts with a written reply from us or with the signed agreement, those govern and the assistant does not.

Do not paste documents or personal information into it. Messages are processed by our model provider in order to answer you, as set out in the privacy policy.

Acceptable use

SubmissionsUse the form for genuine enquiries about your own business, and only upload documents you are entitled to share.
Personal dataDo not send us employee names, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, home addresses, or payment credentials. We do not want them and do not need them.
Automated accessDo not scrape, overload, or attempt to interfere with this site or its systems, and do not use the assistant to generate bulk content.
ImpersonationDo not represent yourself as us, or as authorized by us, anywhere.

Content and availability

The text, structure, and design of this site belong to us. You are welcome to read it, quote it with attribution, and forward it to a colleague or adviser. You may not republish it as your own.

Photographs on this site are licensed stock images used illustratively. They are not photographs of our offices, our staff, or our clients, and are not presented as such.

We make no promise that this site will be available without interruption, and we may change or remove any part of it. Where a change affects the terms on which we would work with you, it does not alter an agreement already signed.

Liability

To the extent the law permits, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on general information published here, as distinct from a written finding delivered to you under a signed engagement. What we deliver under an engagement is governed by that agreement, including what we are responsible for and what we are not.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law and contact

These terms cover your use of this website only. An engagement is governed exclusively by the written agreement you read and sign on this site — it names the contracting party, the fee, and what we may do with your documents. Nothing on this website creates an engagement by itself.

Questions: info@anchorreclaim.com. The contracting party is named in the footer of every page.
